This special model has 4 cm longer than the original pattern, exterior carpenter pockets with side opening and hook-and-eye fastener, genuine leather details on the handle and exterior and interior labels. Also, the cells have been stylized with the zipper to the end of the neck.
Waxed outer fabric with organic cotton.
The concept of waxed fabric was born in the early 15th century, when Scottish sailors in the North Sea fleets began using fish oils and animal fats. This made the fabrics more efficient, stronger and waterproof. When these sails eventually broke down over time, sailors used them as cloaks to protect themselves and keep dry.
This gave birth to the famous sailor’s raincoat, which became an essential tool for their work.
